A lot of good ideas here! I've wondered about that couples buried in separate cemeteries thing. We occasionally come across it and sometimes wonder if it isn't just expediency. A sibling had a free plot and the plots in the other cemetery were used up or expensive. Often times cost seems to be the dominate factor particularly when the deceased is poor and other family members are paying.
